ABOUT ME

Hi, thanks for visiting my website. I was born in South Africa and am of Hakka Chinese descent. I immigrated to Canada in the early 70’s. I worked in Anne Murray’s band as one of her 2 guitarists for 32 years. She also featured me as a fiddler and background  singer.

I also had 4 songs that I co-wrote with Gord Adams recorded by Anne: Somebody’s Waiting, Why Don’t you Stick Around, Only Love and We Don’t Have To Hold Out.

These days, I am concentrating much on playing the guitar and gigging around the clubs in Toronto with my friends Gary Craig, Russ Boswell and Carlos Lopes. Our band is called The 501 East. We are on Facebook as the The 501 East (music band).

I am also perform as solo guitarist/violinist or band leader at Corporate and Private Functions.

I am married to a fine singer and percussionist. Her name is Margot Glatt and we perform shows as a duo in the GTA as well in the Muskoka area.
