Hi, thanks for visiting my website. I was born in South Africa and am of Hakka Chinese descent. I immigrated to Canada in the early 70’s. I worked in Anne Murray’s band as one of her 2 guitarists for 32 years. She also featured me as a fiddler from 2005-2008. This inspired me to keep studying fiddle and mandolin. I also had 4 songs that I co-wrote with Gord Adams recorded by Anne: Somebody’s Waiting, Why Don’t you Stick Around, Only Love and We Don’t Have To Hold Out.

I have written and produced a number of radio jingles. Probably the most notable is the one for Don Valley North Toyota.

These days, I am concentrating much on playing the guitar and gigging around the clubs in Toronto with my friends Gary Craig, Russ Boswell and Carlos Lopes. Our band is called The 501 East.

I am also for hire as a solo guitarist/violinist or band leader at Corporate and Private Functions.

I am married to a fine singer and percussionist. Her name is Margot Glatt and we perform concerts as a duo named Fit As A Fiddle Canada.
